Once again, it’s December- a time of family gathering’s, of shopping, wrapping, decorating, baking and general busyness. It is also a very busy time as a photographer, making certain that all clients have had their orders fulfilled and their Christmas cards have arrived safely, to be handed out to their loved ones as well. Because I was on holidays one of these crazy December weeks, I had to be especially organized but it was all worth it as I am now able to take some time to relax with my family. I have used some of this time to reflect on the past year and I feel so incredibly blessed.
I have so many people to thank:
- wonderful clients who trusted me to capture their memories for them, and who allow me to use my passion for photography to also support my family
- my husband, who supports me in every way, who constantly compliments me on my work, and who watches our children every Saturday without complaining (too much!)
- fellow photographers who have helped me along in my journey, who have critiqued my work and helped me to grow as a photographer
- the wonderful people who worked tirelessly with me to re-brand my business and make it a perfect fit for me
- above all, my Lord and Savior- for without Him, I would be nothing
Thanks also, to all of you- my faithful blog readers. I love hearing from you, reading your comments always makes me smile. It does feel good to know that I am actually talking to someone, not babbling to the Internet.
I have quite a few things planned over the next week- a really fun giveaway, my 12 fave images from the year, and more. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and I wish you all the very best Christmas celebrations. Remember the reason for the season!
This was our Christmas card this year- I wanted to try something new and different and I just loved this round card on a beautiful, shimmery pearl paper.
