What can I say about this session? Well, originally it was planned as a family session but Dad was unable to come, so we improvised and made it all about the boys. Both of these sweet boys have been seen on this blog before- you’ll find Greyson’s newborn session HERE. This time we were celebrating Greyson’s first birthday and we wanted to capture him at this age as well as show the special bond between these two sweet brothers. We met at the beach on an overcast, slightly damp morning and we played…we discovered…we ran…played in the sand…we had so much fun! This is the type of work I LOVE doing: capturing children having fun, and photographing those little details so soon forgotten, such as chubby, dimpled hands, funny expressions, tender moments. I am thankful that their mom also understands the importance of these images. These are going to be hung as a very large wall gallery in their home, and they will also have a gorgeous album to preserve all of these memories for them as they grow older.
